What is Chiropractic?

A Doctor of Chiropractic is a healthcare provider who diagnoses and treats disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, as well as the effects these ailments have on your overall health. At Dynamic Health Center, chiropractic care is used to treat low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and migraine headaches, among many other ailments. Doctors of Chiropractic are often referred to as chiropractors or chiropractic physicians, and they practice a drug-free approach to healthcare that includes an in depth patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment.

Is Chiropractic Safe?

Chiropractic care is recognized as one of the safest, drug-free, non-invasive, therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints and injuries involving the muscles, ligaments, and joints. The Doctor of Chiropractic at Dynamic Health Center, cares for patients of all ages, and treats a variety of health conditions.

How Does it Compare to Hospital Treatment for Back Pain?

In 1994, the United States Agency for Health Care Policy, joined eleven other countries in issuing guidelines for the treatment of back pain. The summary of the joint policy was to recommend that individuals experiencing chronic back pain start with the most conservative and non-invasive approach to eliminating pain (rest, low back exercises, and chiropractic treatment) prior to considering more invasive procedures such as surgery. More recent clinical studies have validated this course of action, as Chiropractic care has shown to be more effective in the management of back pain, as compared to invasive medical procedures, and without the unnecessary side effects.

Does Insurance Cover Chiropractic?

Yes, at Dynamic Health Center, we are “In Network” with all major insurance companies, and chiropractic care is included in most health insurance plans, including major medical plans, workers’ compensation, and Medicare. The staff at Dynamic Health Center will assist you with all billing and insurance questions. We will handle the entire billing process for you, so you can focus on getting back to a life without pain.

My friend Cat Turner is a Nurse Practitioner that performs this therapy, and I HIGHLY recommend her! Thank God she has a steady hand"
